Mercury's two-door coupe convertible, known as
a Cabriolet or as a Club Coupe Convertible. Designated as Model 76. Listed for $1018 in 1939.
It featured a vacuum-operated automatic top. These cars featured a
116" wheelbase, V8 engine, and hydraulic brakes. Available in 1940 was
a four-door Convertible Sedan, Model 74 that listed for $1212.
1941-1948 featured a 118" wheelbase, $1100 list price. 1942 introduced
the Liquimatic Drive transmission, and power increase to 100hp. In
1949, the model designation was 9CM, and horsepower was up to 110.
