Facts:      Mercury's four-door sedan, designated as Model 73 in 1939.  Mercury vehicles featured hydraulic brakes, V8 engines, and a 116" wheelbase.  List prices was $957 in 1939.  In 1941, the wheelbase increased to 118".  In 1949, the wheelbase changed to 114".
