Facts:
Mercury's top-of-the-line trim level until 1955,
when it was superseded by the Montclair. The 72C Coupe model in
1950-1951 featured a canvas or vinyl roof covering and leather seat facings.
Power steering and power brakes were available in 1953. 1954 brought a
new ball joint front suspension. Power seat and power windows were
optional. In 1956 the electrical system was upgraded to 12 volts.
