Facts:
1960-61 models are completely different from the
1962-1963 models as they were a full sized car. The 1961 Meteor 600 and
Meteor 800 were Mercury's base trim levels. The 600 was available as a
two-door or four-door sedan, while the 800 was available as a two-door or
four door sedan and two-door or four-door hardtop. 1962-1963: The
Mercury Meteor became a mid-size car available in two-door sedan, four-door sedan, and four-door station wagon. S-33 sport
package included bucket seats, console, and trim updates and cost $2628. The
top-of-the-line station wagon was the Country Cruiser.
