Facts:
Mercury's sport version of the intermediate Montego,
a two-door coupe available in base, GT, and Spoiler versions. Designed
on a unitized chassis, this "supercar" weighed close to two tons but
would accelerate 0-60 in under six seconds, and through the quarter mile in
under fifteen. Ram Air was available with the CJ (Cobra Jet) and SCJ
(Super Cobra Jet) 429ci engines.
