Facts:
Mercury's full size four-door station wagon
built on the Panther platform.
This model was dropped after 1991 when the Grand Marquis was redesigned.
Available in GS and LS trim levels. A trailer towing package was optional. 1990
saw the addition of a driver's side airbag and revised dash layout.
Antilock brakes and traction control were optional. An optional passenger-side
airbag joined the standard driver-side. As a side note, GM produced full size, rear-wheel-drive wagons through 1996,
when they also disappeared. In the spring of 2004, Dodge introduced
the Magnum, a full-size rear-wheel-drive, unit-body V8-powered station wagon.
