1968 Mercury Meteor Lemoyne

owned by Robert Blanchet

"Hi just see the September car of the month and I'm very happy that there is other owner of Lemoyne.  I'm a pride owner myself of a Meteor Lemoyne 1968 2 dr, 390 CID, all original.  Probably the last with only 568 unit produce in 1968. Since I have the car, I have never seen another Meteor Lemoyne in any exposition.  The only thing I have seen, is two or three ads in 3 years.

Since I have the car, I have made a lot of repair: drive train, direction, engine, ect...  Actually, the car drive very well.  I can qualify the car as a 20 footer.  The car need chrome, paint and interior.  This year, I will attack the hard thing:  interior.  The car is very rare, then the part are almost impossible to find (mustang guy, you are luky).  The only thing that help is, on a mechanical point of view, the ford Galaxie, F100 and the F150.  I can use also a few part of the Mustang (very few).  Then, I must budget for that.  This will be hard to keep as original as possible but I will try.  Some help can be appreciated...."
