1967 Comet Caliente Convertible with only 62,500 original miles from Georgia.
Bright red BC/CC exterior with black bench seat interior and top. Chrome and
stainless are in great condition. Not a 10 footer, because everything looks
good from 2 feet!
No panels have ever been replaced. Floors, trunk and frame are original and
perfect. Absolutely no rust now, or ever......
289 CI engine with C4 transmission. "C" code car with Ford Alum 4bbl intake
and Holley 600 CFM carb w/electric choke. All new front suspension, including
upper and lower control arms from PST. All new (drum) brakes and hardware. All
of the original parts go with the car, which are in good condition.
I had C4 transmission rebuilt this summer and is still under warranty. I have
pictures of the underside, while I had the transmission out of the car........
New top that powers up and down great. All glass is in great condition.
Car is all original and everything works, including the emergency brake. There
aren't any issues with the car, clear title in my wife's name.....
The car runs great and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.....

Canada.
The VIN is 8B26Y534035. I was told by the previous owner that
only about 100 were manufactured in 1968! It is quite solid
and has only minimal rust in a few spots. It needs a new soft
top but the interior is clean. It is all original including
the 390 engine. Mechanically it runs great. It is a #4 grade
driver that would be an easy restoration. I am located in the
Phoenix area in
Arizona. I am asking $4975 O.B.O.

Early to Mid 1960's GM Chevrolet 327 ci exhaust
manifolds, matched set left and right sides. These are a rare
set featuring the exhaust baffle in the RH side and the alternator
bracket on the LH side. They are in very good condition with
no cracks and very minimal rust pitting. They are likely
correct for a Corvette, Impala, Chevelle, Chevy II, or any Ford
street rod with 327. No reasonable offer refused.

289 4bbl not the original HIPO, automatic 3 speed on the floor 6 bolt bell
housing.
Disc brakes, pwr steering, bucket seats.
General condition of the vehicle, it drives fine, needs carb
adjustment (edelbrock), shifts, brakes and steers good, not a smoker.
Exterior, was restored once, not a good job, will need to be done
again correctly, deck lid has rust on the turn down. One floor pan
replaced drivers side, quarters replaced till need some blending.
The interior as follows, headliner needs to be replaced, carpet is new
in the box, seats are in fair shape, door panels need to be replaced,
no counsel, original steering wheel needs restored.
Car is in south east MI.

1964 Mercury Monterey 2 door hardtop with Breezeway
window. 390 automatic power steering and power brakes, and factory air
conditioning. 84 yr old owner is 2nd owner and he bought it in 1965, with just a
few miles on it as he puts it. It now shows 37xxx, which I believe to be
accurate as the last lube sticker on the door from mid 2000 shows 37xxx, and
there is only 3 miles difference on the odometer. It does need paint and the
headliner repaired across 2
bows, but otherwise is all there including all the chrome trim. The back bumper
should be re-plated but the rest of the chrome and stainless should buff out
good enough for local shows, re-plate all
for concourse. No rust showing but a little bubbling on the back wheel
arch on, I think, passenger side. I think he told me he has all the books and
papers on it and only wants $3200.00 for it. (918) 251-4258.
Looked up this car on nada website and it shows about 4200 for low retail,
which means drive-able as-is.
I looked in Hemmings website and there were some listed by dealers in the 5 to
7k price range. Since it is not truly a project car (needs everything is my
description of a project car) but a decent daily driver type, even
given the asking price and putting a couple of grand in it would still make a
killer cruiser for the week ends, especially back east. |

Hello! I am looking for a RARE 1940 Mercury Tail Light Lens. It
is 1/2 RED on the bottom, and 1/2 AMBER on top. It is exactly like the
regular 40 lens in all other respects. It is made by Stinsonite and bears the
word MERCO 2 on the edge. I suspect it was made for an EXPORT vehicle to
Canada, Australia or Europe. I have the left one, and the "bucket" for the
right, but I am missing the RIGHT LENS. Any help or information would be greatly
appreciated!
